Reach Out

Send a quick message to check if your date is open. If it is, we'll set up a video call to talk through your vision, the venue, and any early ideas.

Contract & Deposit

Once we've agreed on the details, I'll send a contract. A $300 non-refundable deposit secures your date. Nothing is locked in until that's in place.

Planning & Sketches

In the weeks leading up to your wedding I create composition sketches based on your venue and our conversations, so we walk into the day with a clear direction.

Final Check-In

A couple of weeks before the wedding we connect again to go over the schedule and any last details. I want the day to run smoothly as much as you do.

Your Wedding Day

I arrive early, set up quietly, and start painting. Guests are welcome to watch and ask questions. That's part of the experience.

Studio Finishing & Delivery

After your wedding I take the painting back to my studio to finish every detail properly before delivering your piece.

Meet Chris

Chris Bodary is a fine artist based in Chester County, Pennsylvania. His artistic approach is a blend of technical skill, intuition, and empathy for his subjects. Chris aims to capture not just the likeness but also the mood, to create a strong composition that you don't want to look away from.

Family is number one. He and his wife were married in 2016, and the family grew to three kids, a dog, and a cat. For Chris, being a dad is a core part of who he is and a constant source of inspiration for his artwork.

Before pursuing art, running played a significant role in Chris's life. He competed in Track and Field and Cross Country for the University of Tennessee, earning All-SEC Conference and All-South Region honors. The discipline and drive from his athletic days continue to guide his journey as an artist.

Absolutely. Scroll up to the gallery section or reach out and I'll send you a full portfolio with pieces similar to what you're looking for.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I am fully insured.

Can guests interact with you?

Absolutely! I love engaging with guests and making the experience enjoyable for everyone. It's part of what makes live painting special.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend reaching out as early as possible. Popular dates fill up quickly. That said, reach out even if your date is soon; I'll do my best to make it work.

Do you travel outside Chester County?

Yes! I serve the greater Philadelphia area, the Main Line, Delaware, New Jersey, and beyond. Travel fees may apply for further distances.
